Sebago Potatoes


Sebago potatoes are the most widely used variety and are often considered an ‘all-purpose’ potato. These potatoes are high in nutrients and are virtually fat free! Sebago potatoes have light brown/white skins, white flesh and are usually oval shaped. This versatile variety can be used fried, baked, boiled, grilled, mashed or anything in between! 



Royal Blue Potatoes

This variety is easily recognizable by its dark purple skin and yellow flesh. Royal Blue potatoes are low in starch and high in moisture and sugar. Royal Blue potatoes are best used to create a creamy mash or delicious roast potatoes and chips. 


Kipfler Potatoes 


These waxy, finger shaped potatoes are known for their knobbly body, yellow skin and light yellow flesh. Kipfler potatoes have a buttery nutty flavor that works best boiled, steamed and used in salads or roasts. Kipfler potatoes are not recommended for frying. 


Kestrel Potatoes

 

Kestrel potatoes are best known for their yellow skin with purple blush throughout. These potatoes are perfect for roasting, boiling, mashing and frying. They have a slightly-sweet flavour which pairs well with most herbs and proteins. 


Dutch Cream Potatoes


These large, waxy, oval potatoes have yellow flesh and skin and a rich buttery taste. Dutch Cream potatoes are best used in a mash or boiled, roasted, baked or pureed. 


Sweet Potatoes


Sweet Potatoes are one of the most well-known varieties of potatoes and are loaded with vitamins A, C and E. As you’ve guessed from the name, these potatoes have a sweet taste that works well roasted and mashed with a wide variety of herbs and proteins.
