A lighter alternative to traditional fruit-laden Christmas pudding. This indulgent choice gives you spicy and tropical flavours of the season. The all year round pudding is chock full of infamous Buderim Ginger, pineapple and Brandy from South Australia – it tips out beautifully with generous chunks of pineapple and ginger sitting atop with the liquor drizzling down around the pud.

On a chilly night the Buderim Ginger is a wonderfully warming dessert.
Store any leftovers in its Sydney made basin in fridge.
For an 900g pudding:
Remove wrappings and tape from lid.
To Steam: (Preferred method):- place lidded basin in a steamer over boiling water or use a large saucepan with a trivet or upturned heat-resistant saucer. Place basin on trivet/saucer and add boiling water to come 1/3 way up the basin. Steam for 45 minutes, topping up with boiling water as necessary. Do not allow water to enter your pudding nor the pan to boil dry.
To Microwave: Loosen the lid and heat on full power (750W) for 1 min, leave to stand for 1 min. Repeat 5 more times. Adjust times according to your oven as appliances vary – these are guidelines only.
For a 400g pudding as above but adjust times as follows:
Steam for 30 mins
Microwave: (750W) for 1 min and stand for 1 min. Repeat twice more.
